Netherlands King’s day annual ceremony

King’s Day is a national holiday in the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Celebrated on 27 April (26 April if the 27th is a Sunday), the date marks the birth of King Willem-Alexander. When the Dutch monarch is female, the holiday is known as Koninginnedag) or Queen’s Day and, under Queen Beatrix until 2013, was celebrated on 30 April. On the occasion of the birthday of His Majesty King Willem Alexander of the Netherlands, the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Erbil and by the organization and sponsorship of Babylon Multimedia Group organized a reception for the members of the diplomatic corps, KRG and political party officials in addition to the Kurdistani Dutch nationals in Erbil.  Babylon Multimedia is the proud organizer of this annual event for the past couple of years.
