Babylon Media orchestrated the event for the inauguration of Mr. Nechirvan Barzani as the President of the Kurdistan Region. The newly-elected President took his oath of office on June 10 in a special ceremony, as announced by the Kurdistan Parliament. Due to the high number of local and foreign officials and diplomats in attendance, the ceremony was held at the Saad Abdullah Conference Hall in Erbil instead of the Parliament building. Kurdistan Parliamentary Speaker Vala Fareed Ibrahim invited all lawmakers to be present. During the event, Barzani was sworn in and delivered a speech to the attendees and the people of the autonomous Kurdistan Region.
